You are who you are because of what has went into your mind. If you would like to learn more about Socially Responsible Investing (SRI), this book may be a great place to start. I researched SRI books for quite a while before ordering this one, so I think it is a rare find.
It is concise. The author (Stephan Kerby) has had this conversation with so many clients over the years, he has learned how to articulate SRI in a very simple fashion.
Word to the wise: SRI is not an easy topic to fully comprehend. Leave it up to the financial services industry to take something this important and make it so complicated.
However, the book will bring most readers great clarity on the subject.
Below are a list of the chapters I found most provocative.
- Chapter 1: What is socially responsible investing
- Chapter 4: History of SRI
- Chapter 5: What is ESG? Environmental, Social, and Governance: Definitions
